    I had contacted the Geek Squad for an In-Home service call and since I was able to fix the issue myself I cancelled the Appointment. After calling the Geek Squad for information on when my account would be credited I was transferred 5 times (the original agent did call me back) and I was disconnected twice. At that point I was absolutely disgusted that there wasn’t one person that I talked to that could get me to the right department. Since I was unsuccessful in talking with someone I contacted my bank regarding the charge. Hopefully, there won’t be any further problems getting a refund. In the future I will contact Geek Squad and set up an appointment and pay when they perform the service and not order and pay online.

    This is not a technical – but a billing issue that I seek to resolve since March… I have used the mail address with which my billing info was sent… but 2 months later – Zero… not a thing… here we are again:
    Please HELP!
    I am from and in Vienna Austria, Europe and This is what I wrote in March:
    Dear Geek Squad Team,
    beginning of March when you asked me to update my billing information, I gave you a new, Bank of America Visa (instead of the Austrian Visa that was on file).
    Indeed it happened that you charged then twice $69.99 – once to my Austrian, one to the American Visa.
    I kindly request to have one amount reimbursed – please see attached (I can forward again if requested to an email from you – please send me that info)..
    Please let me know if you need any further information.

    But, the repair was not finished, and there were some educational items for me in the chat.

    However, it is interesting that you say “Best Buy does not send chat logs to Clients after the chat has been closed.” That tells me that the chat is available, and since I was “welcome to copy the chat during the time of the repair” it seems unreasonable, that if you have the chat, that you will not send a copy to you’re – GOOD – clients. I am a good Best Buy customer, too!

    Please don’t explain a future request like mine to another client in the future. We want to trust that Best Buy has our genuine interest, and this response tell me that if you do have the chat, it’s too much trouble to copy and email it to a customer. Or, that you do not have the chat, as they automatically disappear. Even though being the Geek Squads’ computer geniuses that you are, it seems that the challenge to find the chat would be worthy. I am disappointed that Best Buy and the Geek Squad did not find my request worthy of consideration, and being considerate enough to forward it to me.

    Thought I would initiate a Chat with a Geek Squad Agent rather than phone. Did not “read the fine print” and inadvertently clicked on a popup ad that took me to non-Geek Squad support service. After chatting with a tech assistant (or bot) I was finally transferred to a tech agent that would address my question for $1 and for $46/mo I could subscribe to the popup service.
    Bottom line: If you have a Geek Squad account with a local BestBuy, contact them directly as suggested in other replies and responses. Navigating through the maze when googling Geek Squad is a waste of time and can make one wonder why they ever signed up for Geek Squad in the first place. The general level Geek Squad support service needs major simplification.

    I need to talk to an agent, i have the protection plan i pay monthly with that subscription was told i have internet protect with webroot.well now webroot saids my subscription has expired so whats up with that ?
